Jerry McSorley
Jerome "Jerry" McSorley is a Co-Founder and Manager of CostaMerica Capital, LLC, and has over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, operations, corporate sustainability, and information technology. He began his career with MGM Brakes, where he contributed to the redesign of the company's pneumatic air brakes system and received an accelerated buyout for his work on patented technology. Mr. McSorley then founded a land development and residential construction company in Charlotte, North Carolina, and later invented a solar-powered, cellular-transmitted security camera solution in 2007, leading to the founding of Eye Trax, Inc. Under his leadership, Eye Trax consistently grew by 20% year over year and deployed security solutions on six of the seven continents. In 2020, Mr. McSorley and his partner sold a majority interest in Eye Trax to an international security and technology firm. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering, Mr. McSorley was also a member of the nationally-ranked lacrosse team at the university. He currently resides in Denver, North Carolina with his twin sons.
Tod Coles
Tod Coles is an accomplished operations leader with over 25 years of experience in corporate operations management and project development. He has a strong background in the development and operations of multinational manufacturing facilities and has successfully overseen the development, construction, and operations of production facilities in a range of industries. Mr. Coles has a proven track record of managing successful exit strategies, providing an average of an 8x return on partners' principal investment. He has expertise in business administration, development, leadership, strategic planning, contract negotiations, and profit and loss responsibility, and is skilled at implementing growth strategies. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Coles is a long-time resident of North Carolina with a wide network of contacts in finance, real estate development, and property management.
